Mission-focused engineering leadership

Matthew Kohn is a highly organized, detail-oriented systems engineering and architecture professional with more than two decades of experience spanning satellite communications, enterprise modernization, DoD programs, technical leadership, and business management.

From operating heavy earth terminals in Korea and technical control facilities in Iraq, to safeguarding the civilian integrity of GPS alongside the FAA, to architecting next-generation satellite command & control systems — his career has centered on one thing: delivering mission-focused technical solutions that work.

He is an effective problem solver and proven leader with deep experience developing requirements, running trade studies, coordinating stakeholders across government and industry, and turning complex constraints into sound architecture decisions.

Looking Ahead

With an MBA in progress (expected 2027), Matthew is working toward transitioning into project management or human resources leadership — pairing two decades of technical program experience, team supervision, and stakeholder coordination with formal business education.
